Yes, Jon is correct. One is doing something wrong if they are staying in the drop down lists.
Just for the fun of it, log in as administrator, e.g. At the login screen rather than log in as you and then go to administrative, log in directly as Admin. It will take you to the admin section only. It has, in the past, performed tasks that you could not do in the regular admin screen.
