Coding question on AC board. Interesting
About PPD we bill 86580 for admisnitration and 99211 for the reading which most of the time is denied by commertial insurances, thus we bill the patient.
Now, some comments make me think. In our office we don't have RNs. Our experienced MA do the PPD reading.
To be able to bill for 99211 the service must be provided by a nurse? or a Medical Assistant MA can do it?
