We are new to AC, so took your suggestions to buy a snapscan 1500. Before I send it back, maybe someone can help (But I've already put it back in the box): We can scan into a file, but when importing into AC, the text is huge and cannot be made smaller. Fujitsu checked it out and it was set up correctly on their end. AC said it was not compatible, because it is not a TWAIN scanner.........how is anyone else getting it to work?
Please do not return the scanner. We absolutely love our ScanSnap and it has revolutionized our office and our home office. This scanner comes with the full version of Adobe Acrobat. With everything installed, you can simply scan a multipage document and it will automatically scan color, both sides of the page, orient the page properly if upside down or crooked, and even convert to a searchable text document if you want. You can also turn down the quality in the control panel for smaller files. (I do low res for standard text documents.)
Then you can simply right click on the document after it saves (we save to a Scan Folder on the server) and convert to a PDF file. Next, drag and drop right into the Imported Items in AC. It works so well! Msg me if you have more questions. You should love this scanner!
