AVG Free Edition is licensed for home and non-commercial use. I'm sure it will work but as to legality... I second Microsoft Security Essentials, up to 10 computers in a commercial setting. ClamWin is about the only other one allowed in a commercial setting but lacks a resident scanner. Also, if you do have domain/cient, you can still use MSE and it still reports that it's working in SBS. Only the server will need special antivirus.
