I tried logmein Hamachi and AC once. I think the cable internet speed we have is the limitting factor. You are trying to control too much and there is not enough band width.
We have used Logmein free and Logmein pro for 5 years - it is almost problem free. Logmein Pro and AC works quite well, as you can print file, and transfer files quite readily. It is almost as if you were in your office. However, the computer you log on must be set to awake on command, which takes about 3 to 4 minutes to do.
Logmein free tends to kick you off faster if you are not using the terminal, and Logmein pro give you a bit more time of inactivity (like 1 patient encounter), before it kicks you off.
