LOL. Jon, the funny thing is that my "server" is the V230. But when I went out to look at the cheaper front desk machine and went to the "system info" screen, it said vostro 230 also, but only 2GB ram. But its in a mini-tower and didnt come with a monitor. The "server" mistakenly a "desktop". I tend to use the terms desktop and tower interchangably, since I thought they had stopped making machings to actually sit on your desktop (since no one wants them). I was tricked by the picture on-screen, which looked like a small thin tower. yes, I have it on its side and now need to buy a little still so that it doesn't tip over.
We started out with just the pc we had, and tried to just get a little better one as we went along. But we haven't had any difficulties.
