We use Visa on a separate "personal" account opened under my name for Alaska Airline miles. Have not bought a ticket in years, and we can give miles to employees as "bonuses." Amex and Visa business allow somewhat easier accounting. Visa business would have been a bit of a pain to set up, as doing it as another personal card just used my existing credit rating, while the business cards needed a bunch of business information, P/L statements, and so forth. As close as I can tell, the business accounts allow cards for different employees to be tracked separately, but I'm the only one allowed to charge things so it does not matter. I can't really tell if one would have been cheaper than another, but honestly CC charges get lost in the noise of cash flow as long as everything is paid fully every month.
