http://www.sensaphone.com/sensaphone_400.phpto remotely monitor the temperatures of my med refrigerators. Less than $400. No monthly monitoring fee (shares the line with the fax). Takes an hour or two to set up, but then can forget it. It calls up to 4 phone numbers when temps go out of range. Very custimizable. Like if the power goes out, I don't care to know about it unless out for over an hour, then the system is programmed to call me. Likewise on out of limit temps. It has called me on more than one occasion for refrig door being ajar.
