Bert, I agree with your methodd. I delegate the vacine matter to my RNs who are well trained and get additional week long yearly conference training in vaccines.
I just met with them last week to smooth out the process and as we are doing with our bright futures process, they are planning ahead and reviewind the child's vaccine status before they arrive and making decisions about what is due, getting vis etc.
Unfortunately our state databases ( we have north dakota and montana) do not interact with AC so now we are tasked with deciding whether to back enter everything into AC or someday hope there will be an interface.
Meanwhile, we are double entering vaccines into ac and the database, Time consumiong.
