We have talked a little before, but I can add a few comments. They may not make sense, because I am not completely sure I understand your questions.
As to the pastels and picking out templates, how are you going to your template list? I ask this, because when you right click in any field, only the templates that correspond to that field will show up. So, there would be no reason to color code them.
As to the templates for diagnosis, it would seem like in the Physical section you could type all the info you want for a certain section or subsection of spinal segments. You could save all your templates with the Alt + Right click feature. You could even make a fake template that you do in all caps to separate the sections. You could have templates that put in exactly what you noted on exam or you could have one template with a [Y] [N] by it and double-click delete the one that is not there.
As to the medications, I will need to think on that.
