Thanks Bert for your detailed support. I am amazed by the all the support you guys give to each other. I really feel like I am joining a "Amazing Charts User family."
Myself and our IT guy was finally able to figure out the problem. It is the Router. I had Linksys WRT GL wireless router, which worked fine for the wireless internet part, but poorly with in-office network. We changed it to Linksys RV042 wired router, everything worked great in all three computers and also was very fast. I definitely need one computer connected wireless to tke the laptop to patient room and document there. I am going to buy an wireless Access Point, (thinking of Netgear WG602, has good ratings on CNET) connecting to the wired router. That way to keep the wired and wireless connection separate. I agree setting up wireless right, so that it woks efficiently can be complicated, but once it is up and going should be OK.
I did not particularly have any specific problem with Vista, I have Home Premium, may need to upgrade to Business or Ultimate at some point.
Thanks again.
