Two best concerts I've seen:
Merrillville, Indiana; Holiday Star Theatre: highly recommended place to see 60's and 70's groups. I saw a triple-header there: Edgar Winter, (one of the-) Allman brothers, and Three Dog Night. and with the older crowd it's casual: you can go to the stage and take pics; they have a cocktail bar (though I did not partake). Great place and was a great concert.
Berlin, 1990: Roger Waters, The Wall--yes, AT the Wall, as it was in the process of coming down. 250,000 people in a dust bowl, right in front of the mid-stage. I felt lucky to make it out alive but was a great show with many famous opening acts.
