Wow V! I'm truly impressed.
I pay an inhouse biller 35 hours/week not only to submit the claims but to make sure patients are paying their bills, keep track of who owes what, make our deposits, and resubmit any denials. It's above my skill level to do all that and do my job. She also helps me by running the errands that I don't have time for during the day, and takes my daughter to the orthodontist every month (they only seem to make apts during hours that I work---how dare they smile )
I've heard of some doctors doing everything themselves, and I'm happy to see you are finding the ability to do so. In our region, I know of one P.T. who does his own billing and everything. I'm not aware of any physicians.
