Really I think $1000 is too high for a setup charge. Plus, I checked out MTBC as a billing and EMR company before I stumbled upon AC. The rep actually refused to take me on for billing and thus fork over the free EMR software after I told him how small my practice is; he didn't think it was a "wise business decision."
