One workaround - You do not need to generate an office note to give H1N1, since you will not be paid to give shot with office visit same day. I would simply pull up main pt. list - highlight the pt., right click and do ORDER, enter the H1N1 data in the order with the ordering provider and print/save - will save to chart, will have pt. demographics on it and then you can enter it in the vaccine summary page as a shot or whatever.
In my state I have to do whatever I want in the EMR and then manually enter it into our online vaccine registry (please don't start thread on evils of registries and big brother).
