Sounds easy enough and comfortable for me.
Many docs in particular seem to have a phobia about tinkering with their computers unless, like you, I, and a few others here, they have a strong tech background.
I have a degree in electrical engineering and a fair amount of programming experience, so futzing under the hood doesn't spook me.
