OK, here it is. I think this is the fourth time I have typed this, but I can't recall where I put it. If the hassle of CTRL - S sending your charts to the inbox is frustrating enough, then you will have to be willing to pay $19.95 after a 30-day trial period. Of course, there are probably other programs like it. Probably hundreds. This was is just easy and works.

Basically, it is just a software program which allows you to make quick shortcuts to functions on your computer. So, pressing F1 may open Word or something. Only in your case, you want it to do the opposite. You want it to make CTRL - S do nothing.

So, you have to do something so you do something that doesn't do much or is not distracting such as choose Run Panel Applets and then Passwords. Or you could choose clock. In the first example, given that I have no Passwords applet in my control panel, hitting CTRL - S (the combination I assigned to run: Control Panel Applet - Passwords, does nothing. So, if I hit it by mistake no big deal. But, you could have it open notepad with a message that says, "You did it again!" or whatever. If you want to see the time, or know what time you screwed up and hit the combo again you can run that.

Of course, it's not like $19.95 was completely wasted. You can also use it for the actual reasons it is sold.

And, it does override the shortcut from AC.
