I despise attorneys. Most are without a soul, and those who sue doctors without scruple are the spawn of evil.

I've been sued twice, my score 1:1. The 1st meritless. The 2nd perhaps had merit. A lady on who was documented non-compliant in coumadin monitoring (for years) slipped and fell on ice, bumped her head and came to the office. She and her husband REFUSED my advice to go to the E.D. and sued me when she got a subdural hematoma. Had I been using A.C. I might have used my template for "Refusing Advice." They won a settlement because I didn't document well enough that I told them to go to the E.D. WTF happened to common sense?

You are correct in your premise that some souless attorney somewhere would have a problem with the import items lack of printed signature. However it is not a practical concern. You could easily explain that this is simply the way the system works. You could also have your attorney obtain statements from AC staff to support this or they could go into the database and retrieve the date and time that a particular document was imported if truly necessary.

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Nor would I waste time hand-writing then scanning your images.
