This is what I did:
1. Scanned signature. 300 dpi (why? don't know. That was the setting in my scanner)
2. Saved to jpg
3. Opened file with paint
4. Edit -> "Select all"
5. Resized signature down to something that seemed like it would fit in the little rectangle. (Make sure the signature is as close to left upper corner of the jpg file as you can make it)
6. Saved file to a new name, just in case.
7. Browsed and selected file
8. Went back to paint and repeated steps 4 to 7 about 10 times until signature fit well and was not cut off.
9. Went home, had a beer, and kicked the neighbor's cat. (Not hard)
