I know this is unlikely, but is there any way to add an updated ICD-10 code? (In this specific instance for example, a hospital is requiring a more specific Dx code which didn't exist when the original ICD-10 database was installed with AC.)
AC 8.3

Thanks.

Kurt,

Don't know about 8.3, but on my 6.3.3, you can.
Go to the ICD database, search database.
There is a button for Add code.

Hi Kurt,

With ICD-10, there is no way to add a new code. There is a good amount of mapping behind the scenes with ICD10 that makes this impossible (on the plus side, it does make searching codes easier now).

I checked with support and in order to get the new codes DB, you would need to upgrade to the newer version.

Thanks, Mark. I see that the corresponding screen for ACv8.3 to that posted by DCubed (thanks!) does not allow editing, and I figured that AC 6.3.3 probably involves ICD-9.

That’s one of the reasons why I like my old version. I entered all the ICD-10 codes I use, and customize the names to my liking.

According to our dear friend Indy (RIP), 6.3.3 was the best and fastest version, and it was downhill thereafter.

I don’t know, perhaps one of the technical folks can chime in.
