Hi Everyone, NewCrop, our Electronic Prescription Vendor is having trouble with their network. Because of this, any scripts that you are trying to send may stay in the 'Queued' status, in the Prescription Status Screen. We have been in touch with NewCrop and they are working to correct this issue. I will update this post as soon as a resolution has been reached. We apologize for the interruption of service, and will do our best to get things up and running as quickly as possible.

Darryl, Thanks for the heads up but...NewCrop has been down frequently of late. It is unacceptable as this is vital to practice.
AC needs to consider alternative vendors. The NewCrops software is far less user friendly than other solutions available. (Try the free Allscripts program for comparison and see how streamlined it is , and it rarely was out of commission)

Hi Everyone, NewCrop is back up an running. Transmissions are now moving freely and any back logged scripts have gone through. Again, we apologize for any delay or inconvenience that this has caused you.

Hi Everyone, Just an update to the NewCrop issue. It seems that transmission failures were caused by a temporary stoppage of two of the many processes that NewCrop uses to manage transmissions and queuing. Once the stop was detected, the service was restarted and the issue was resolved. NewCrop is implementing new systems to detect a stop and automatically restart a service in the event of a stop. We have been assured that they are more closely monitoring these systems to ensure smooth performance.

You are replying to an old thread from 2011. Not sure Darryl@AC is still active on the board. Have you tried AC support? Can you give us more info? Several people o here might be able to help, usually after work hours.

NewCrop down for us also all day. AC support is aware. We had done the migration quite a while ago. Unable to send any scripts electronically. Back to paper !

Like a lot of you, we'd done the 10/14 migration a while ago but still were locked out of eRx as of 10/14
I chatted with AC today (was 44th in line initially) and this is what fixed it for us:
-EVERYONE has to log out of AC -log in to AC on the server and go to Admin options--Tools and about click on 3rd item from the bottom "Lexi data to First Data conversion. It will bring up a med migration box with about 600 meds (for me) still pending migration. You can close this box out, say okay to the warning. Then restart AC and it eRx shd be working again.

Thanks for the update, at least you just had 600 meds. There are other threads about this conversion if you are still having any issues or just want to read some of the other rants about the change over.

Thank you for that. I will try tomorrow morning. I tried for support from AC without success, have an email request in with no response yet..... I have no idea if this is something I can fix myself, but an update directly from AC would have been nice.

Update on prescribing: Had left an email a couple of days ago, with no response. After calling AC thursday morning and leaving a message, received call from AC a short time later. They changed something on their end, and prescribing is fixed. What a relief on the one hand, but disappointed on the other that it took my reaching out to them to fix such a widespread problem. Some kind of notice or update from AC would have been helpful.

Sounds like if you had more than x # of unmatched meds a warning is issued and rx halted. Obviously AC / newcrop can override this and restore prescribing.
Either Newcrop didn't send an email to AC warning this was coming, or no one at AC read the said email.

We thought we were done mapping but when eRx was shut off, I looked and saw 1 (one) unmapped medication. Mapped that one and still no eRx. Reached AC hours later and they corrected the block.
(Both providers believe we checked and all drugs were mapped, but ... whatever).
