Is it possible to download all the Updox pages to one's harddrive/flashdrive? So, on the rare occasion Updox is down, we can still get to them?

Thanks Koby!
Perhaps I should not admit this, but I have used Updox as a bit of a filing cabinet for things that do not or not yet have an associated patient chart (like initial referrals before patient contact is made, various business things). I am going to avoid this in the future and make sure that everything is (possibly also) filed somewhere.
Thanks again!
Jack

Tried downloading as PDF files to put in back up folders but if there are more than 10 files or so, it is very slow or gives an error consistently with retries. In this case some of the files are emails with embedded links. I have downloaded much more of just plain patient charts without any problem. Hmmm. I guess one at a time for now. Sad face emoji.

On this topic do you fellow AC users recommend any particular virtual filing system for the office? Does it work with Updox?

Good question, headcase!
I will come back to this when I have more time. We should talk...

One reason we use Updox is because it becomes our filing system. They keep everything for 7 years. One time I was looking for an old document >4 years old on Updox. I could find it but it would not open. So I contacted Updox support & they were able to retrieve the document.

Serene,
Good to note failure of Updox archived doc retrieval
We should all do a trial on 7 year old doc retrieval and complain to Updox if service is not as promised.
In the meantime for anything critical don't count on them to retain documentation. Document results, called results, viewed results in AC.

Yes the patient stuff definitely is in AC. Updox is good for stuff that not necessarily needed but maybe shouldn't throw away.
