I have encountered something I have never seen before in AC or anywhere else, and it just started.
I open a chart, go to a textbox (e.g. HPI) and press the "Enlarge Textbox" button.
Normally, a new window pops up which is the textbox full screen.
Now, the enlarged textbox opens, but doesn't pop up. It stays in the background (I can see it on the task bar, but it won't fully open.) It also prevents anything else from being done in the normal AC window.
I restarted AC -- no change.
Thought it might be a video scaling problem -- some of my machines are Hi Res screens and I have to use AC in enlarged mode (from Display Properties). But scaling everything the same makes no difference.
It behaves the same on several different machines I have tried, even on the server which runs very low-res video and a cheap monitor.
I am baffled.
I guess to see the whole textbox I am going to have to cut and past into Notepad.

Hi Tom,

To resolve the Enlarge Text box issue, select a field in the Most Recent Encounter, and then click Enlarge Text box. On your taskbar, you should see the window open. You should be able to right click on the window, and click Maximize. This should maximize the window and allow you to resize it back to the normal size.

Please let me know if this has helped!

Chris--

Thank you so much!
Worked like a charm.
I was looking for something so much more complex-- I don't know why I didn't try that.
Does this happen often??
I couldn't find anything on Google or in the AC forum search.

grin

Hopefully, that fixes it. But, for the POSSIBLE complex answer (and I don't know if this is the issue), bring up task manager, highlight the Enlarge textbox in applications, in options make sure it is marked "Always on Top."

Thanks Bert.
That should probably be the default opening for enlarge textbox.
I imagine that at some point I minimized an enlarged textbox, then forgot about it.
Probably logged off, and then every time I logged back in the enlarged textbox would open minimized and I couldn't find it behind all the other windows.
Then I got frustrated and figured something was corrupted until Chris came to the rescue.
