AC has 4 menu items for Stage 2 and the requirement is attesting to 3 menu items.
Our practice does not have a radiology interface so that leaves the other 3 menu items we must attest to.
We also don?t have any syndromic surveillance data to report. Which it would be nice if there was actually an explanation from CMS as to what they are talking about with that. Im assuming it would be a communicable disease???
From what I read before if you claim an exclusion to the syndromic surveillance data menu item you must pick another item to replace it, which takes us back to the only item left, the radiology interface that we don?t have.
Any suggestions?

I do not understand why AC only lists 4 items in the MU Wizard, when there are 6 to choose from.
One option for menu items is the capability to identify and report specific cases to a specialized registry, does AC have that capability, and if so do you know what we might need to do to attest?

For example, I am a Rheumatologist, and some of our drugs are associated with tuberculosis, which is reportable. Could I use this to count as a menu item, since if I identify a patient with TB I could report them?

Thanks,
