I have been having problems getting the interface to work. I had Derek look into this with immtrac and Now getting now answers from Derek to my updates. He tells me he is waiting for Immtrac to respond back to him about what problems are occurring. I had got an cc email from Immtrack which I have forwarded to him but I am getting nowhere, so am turning to the group for help. This is a copy of the email from Immtrac about the problems they are getting
Thank you!

It appears that three files were received on 12/12/14 from XXX, import code = X:
? Uploaded_20141021080731_TX_MessageSegment_1.txt
? x.HL7
? x.HL7

The first two files resulted in a fatal error (did not pass the system validation) because they were not named according to ImmTrac?s file naming convention: IMPORTCODEYYDDD.hl7
? IMPORTCODE = x
? YY = The two-digit year. The current year is 2014 = 14, next year will be 2015 = 15
? DDD = The three-digit Julian date representing the date the file was created. Use the Julian Calendar link: http://www.fs.fed.us/fire/partners/fepp/julian-calendar.pdf to determine the correct value.
? x.HL7 where DDD would change according the appropriate Julian Date numeric value.

The third file passed the validation but it still did not contain the required file naming convention. Please ensure that future files follow the above file naming convention or their files will not be processed/imported into ImmTrac.

The third file, x.HL7, passed validation and the data quality assurance (dqa) reports were generated. In reviewing the DQA Reports, this file contained the below Errors:
Description Count Percent
HL7 MSH sending facility is invalid 12 150%
Vaccination facility id is invalid 12 150%

For correction of these errors, please refer to ImmTrac?s HL7 Implementation Guide that can be found here: http://www.dshs.state.tx.us/immunize/immtrac/HL7-and-Meaningful-Use/#docs

The first error, HL7 MSH Sending facility is invalid, refers to MSH-4 segment which must contain the organization?s PFS# which is a value assigned by ImmTrac. The PFS# for this organization is x.

The second error, Vaccination facility id is invalid, refers to RXA-11.4 segment/component which must contain the PFS # of the site that administered the vaccination if the vaccine is being reported as a NEW Immunization. If the immunizations being reported as new were administered at THS MEDICAL CLINIC PA the PFS# reported will be x.

Please correct these three issues (file naming convention included) immediately and submit another test message.

Finally, it is the provider?s responsibility to review these DQA Reports and report any issues to the EHR Vendor to ensure that the data being reported for their organization is good data quality and being sent across to ImmTrac.

Let me know if you have any further questions. Thank you.

What is ImmTrac?

(I'm guessing one state's immunization registry, but will not make assumptions.)

ImmTrac is the Texas vaccine registry. Is AC supposed to have working ImmTrac interface now? Last I checked, AC only had a handful of state registries and I remember someone saying at an ACUC that Texas had very specific requirements - so it will take even longer to complete the interface.

I would LOVE for this feature to work. We will free up 25% of 1 staff member's time.
