Hi,
For stage I meaningful use, I need to submit immunization registry to MA (MIIS), they said I only need to send a secure message at this time, but the instruction they provide is very complicated, need a IT person to do it. Anybody did this before? any tips to offer? suggestions?
Thanks in advance,

We're in MA as well and were told by DPH that they don't have the registry operational yet.

Thanks, John. So what should one do for stage I menu, did you do #8 immunization or #9 Surveillance? You have to do one of them, right?

For Stage 1 you have to do 5 of the 10 Menu items. We did 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.

I think you have to do menu #8 or 9, or both. You can not skip both. Am I right?
Thanks,

For Texas, all we had to do was send them a test file for them to review a part of MU stage 1 req. This was done via uploading to their location per registry direction. The registry does not have to be fully operational.
Pls consider calling the registry.
Chances are the same organization will offer Immu and surveillance. At least that is how it is for Texas. So if Immu is not setup, the surveillance may not be setup too.
