Can Amazing charts use Adobe as a PDF reader newer than 9.0?

hello, I use Adobe PDF reader 10 on my AC . The only difference I see is you have to use the inset screen and use the + or - buttons to zoom or reduce respectively . bala

Frank,
It can, but it sometimes also produces problems. We had one client go to version 7 of Reader to resolve some problems.
We have other clients running 10, 11,'X'
Is there functionality in the newer version of Reader that you need?

We recommend FoxIt Reader here. Virtually eliminated crashing for several practices.

Sandeep,
I am a long time lurker and have only posted once before but I want to deeply thank you for your suggestion on Foxit Reader.
I was having up to 10 crashes per day on multiple client computers. I have spent thousands in consulting fees from 2 different local IT companies. I submitted multiple bug reports. I rolled our server OS back from server 2012 to server 2008 and still nothing fixed the seemingly random and frequent crashes I was having.
I installed FoxIt Reader and have not had a crash in over 24 hours. It would appear my problem has been solved and I just wanted to say thank you.

Sandeep,
If one is to install the Foxit Reader, does one uninstall Adobe Reader first? Does the Foxit website explain things adequately?

Sandeep,
If one is to install the Foxit Reader, does one uninstall Adobe Reader first? Does the Foxit website explain things adequately? You don't have to necessarily. You want it to to be the default for PDF files. When you install it, it will ask you if you want it as the default reader for PDF files. You will need to restart AC to see the effect.

I downloaded the foxit.exe install file but I cannot get it to open. What is the correct program to use or did I download the wrong thing?

It should be a regular .exe file. You should be able to just run it like any other executable file. Here is the direct download link.

Thanks for the direct download link. The one I got off the Internet did not work. I have installed the reader and it seems to work fine. Thank you.

I like foxit and have been using it for years, but the last versions have become so BULKY with extra features, that I am looking for alternatives

I kinda like the extra features. They include a free PDF printer with it which I really like. I used to have to install separate PDF printer and viewer.
