hi,
i am not able to electronically prescribe any of the insulin lancets, test strips. is there a reason for this. i call the pharmacy and they say that they have other practices (using other EMRs) send it over electronically without any problems. is this a glitch?
it is a major problem as there are a lot of diabetics in everyones practices!
any thoughts??

What version of AC are you using? 6.3.3 has started adding in some of them. Won't suffice for Medicare pt as pharmacies send you 8.5 x 11 form with dx code, whether use insulin, times per day, justification if over routine, etc.....
