Leslie,
Bozeman is great!!! It does have a pretty cool dinosaur museum with Jack Horner stuff too, but a really neat western town everyone ought to experience at least once in their lifetime too.

Sorry about the mean horse rules--but another reason I decided on people medicine instead of veterinary stuff--it's sort of tough working on patients your scared to death of. But i get those once in awhile still.

Jimmie,

I have a great respect for the big animals too. I much prefer the donkeys in my old age. They are grumpy like me and a lot less likely to run over you...laziness prevails.

Wow, I was checking out the prices at the dude ranch and about fainted-- maybe I can get the old 81 pop up top vanagon set up at the Bozeman KOA with a few tents set up which is next to the Bozeman Hotsprings and cook hot dogs and sing a few campfire songs. we could all do that for the price of one adult for 3 or 4 nights at the dude ranch-- smirk
seriously-- I will have to do some looking around those prices seem a bit extravagant--

This should be interesting. I was just in DC last year at approximately the same time. I don't know if I want to use my vacation to go to the same spot again.

Jimmie,

I know it is pricey. I could easily do the KOA thing too. The prices quoted also include 3 meals a day and I believe it is for the full week. Nothing is in stone. Let's hear some other ideas from other users

Leslie,

I agree about hearing more ideas, but I got all excited with the thought of a Montana conference at some point, and realize that it is a pain in the arse flying in and out of this locale.
Plus I don't get a chance to "converse" with a Hoosier much these days.

I know the perfect place for the meeting that would make it fun for everyone.

first you have to pick a city that has a resort and attractions during the daytime so family can do something while you are in class. Then you need a place at night with nice attractions and restaurants. You want a place that is in the center of the country so it is equal distance for everyone.

There is only one city that can fit the bill.

New Orleans
