my office manager is so frustrated with importing labs from LabCorp that she is urging me to look at another EMR. Yesterday, she tried 6 times to import labs and crashed the program at each time. Previous to yesterday, the problem had occurred intermittently and this probably was simply a day of bad luck. Amazing Charts has acknowledged this as a bug; we currently are on version 6.1.1, but have been told that 6.1.2 has not solved the problem. I just wanted to vent to the forum as we are probably stuck until 6.2 or beyond.

I haven't heard of this bug. In fact, I just imported labs from Labcorp and Quest just before coming to the Forum. But if it is crashing the program, I do understand her frustration.
I am running V6.1.2 currently, but we have never had that type of problem.

It is interesting that I am pretty sure LabCorp was bought by Quest, and our Quest import has worked pretty much flawlessly since installation 2 years ago. Do you have the option of switching labs?

LabCorp and Quest compete in our region, LabCorp certainly wins even with this problem.

We have been importing from labcorp for some time now. There were a few times were nothing came in but I knew there had to be stuff. The results still came off our printer. The problem was with Labcorp and the hypersend on our computer. It kept shutting off. It wasn't an issue with AC. We are using 6.1.2 now.

Glad the issue seems resolved. That sounded incredibly frustrating.

The problem was with Labcorp and the hypersend on our computer. It kept shutting off. I finally found this problem. And we still have it on 6.1.2. We just have to occassionally reboot the PC.

Wayne, You might also try going to your server and restarting the LabCorp hypersend agent. That is quicker and less intrusive (people can keep working while it is going on) and may accomplish the same thing.
