Jeff,
I think you meant "intents and purposes".
The wording and grammar police are very active on the board of late, beware! grin

Sounds like "intents and purposes" with a Dragon interpretation!

I keep wondering why most AC tech support use name@AC for their display name while others use a different one which is usually not in twitter name style.

Good catch! I wish I could blame it on Dragon or auto correct, but alas it was simply a bone-headed error on my part. :-)

Wayne,

Though it will certainly support it, the Hub unfortunately does not give us out of the box bi-directional capabilities.

Hey Bert,

I have no idea why the names are displayed as they are. It would be just easier to know the person's name, without the underscore and AC written. Oh well.

Jeff,

Thanks for the info. I need to know what you recommend. We need a new EKG. Should I go ahead and get another WelchAllyn or get a Midmark? I would really like a good interface, even if it's just a couple of months from now. I just home "this year" doesn't mean December.

Then names have kind of evolved. When the Guardian Angels first came on, I forget how they set themselves apart, but it wasn't something like their name and Tech Support of Guardian Angels.

Soon thereafter, all began using the Twitter format: name@AC. I don't know why.

Jeff is trying to be Jeff@AC, but the board keeps reverting him back to the underscore.

But, either way, The Name@AC does signify the Guardian Angels.

I have tried for years and have even put it in my signature in the past to change Display Name to their actual first name and then use the same Display Name as their signature, but there are still those on here that use a@dx70+j as their Display Name. That's OK if that is what they want, it is just difficult to address them when you write back to them. smile

Hello, Jeff?

Once again.

Can you get me some advice?

I an not comfortable recommending one particular device over another. We currently have an interface with the Midmark IQecg. We are planning to interface with the Welch Allyn devices soon, but I cannot give you a hard date for when that will be available.

If I were in your position, I would likely buy the device I liked more for other reasons, given that both will eventually have the capability to communicate with Amazing Charts.

We use the Midmark Machine that interfaces with AC. If your current EKG machine still works, you can just scan in your EKG's.
