While that could be true (and it is not!), humiliation is just too strong a word. Humbled may be a better word. And, you have to follow the time-honored tradition of seeking out the person you replaced and asking for forgiveness. (And, hoping they don't start posting mindless posts, like "Yeah, I agree with that," to catch back up.
