The practice I have been working for is still reporting issues with 6.0.10 beta II as their office is in NYS. Both the TSP800 New York or the New York formats both print the prescriptions in a quarter of the prescription paper that is loaded in the Star Micronics TSP800.

I am not sure how anyone in NY is printing prescriptions with the new AC.

Will have to call into Guardian angel support and let them know its still an issue in 6.0.10b.

oh BTW, crystal reports sp1 has no effect on Windows 7 64 bit, still fails when you click the print preview button on prescriptions.

No, I don't know what 6.0.10 did for anything. It certainly didn't help with TSP printing. AC is simply unable to format scripts based on the TSP drivers.

I would recommend giving making the drivers the default driver. Try on every computer. This is how we solved the problem.

Found computer that could print to TSP using driver as default.
Shared that print driver to all other printers.
Made those print drivers default as well.

Works perfectly. Not the best scenario as now the normal default printer has to be chosen each time.

When I check for upgrades in AC, 6.09 is still shown as the latest release.

Yes, there is a bug in the update procedure. Amazing Charts is supposed to look at its current version number and determine if there is a newer (higher-numbered) version available (by "calling home" and asking the Amazing Charts Server - this happens when you start Amazing Charts).

But, due to a similar sort of error that led to the destruction of one of the Mars space missions, those using V6.0.9 (and earlier V6) won't get notified of the 6.0.10 upduate.

The actual problem is that when moving from Version X.X.9 to a X.X.10, Amazing Charts calculates (rightfully so) that 0.9 > 0.1 (since 0.1 and 0.10 and 0.100 are all the same in a mathmetical context). And V X.X.9 is > X.X.1, so as far as Amazing Charts is concerned, it is the latest version.

Unfortunately we forgot to explain to Amazing Charts that versioning is a different context. The result - those on V6 won't get notified automatically. (Though I'll soon add an announcement, which you'll see when logging into Amazing Charts.)

In any case, existing users wishing to upgrade can get the version at www.amazingcharts.net/ac.

lol, there are some lines from the grateful dead, "what a long strange trip it's been..." seems to apply. There is still so much to learn on 6.0.9 that I don't feel any big rush just yet.. lol
