I see that in the Updox Patient Portal there is a section for CCD's. However, I do not know how to send the CCD to the "Records" portion of the Updox Patient Portal.
Anyone know how to do this?

I'm not sure if I'm understanding your question correctly. Are you trying to send a CCD to a patient through the portal on Updox?

Correct. I don't know if you have seen the portal from the patient side. There is a tab called "records." When you select the "records" tab, a screen appears that states that "you doctor has not yet sent a CCD."
My question is: How does one do this?

Try exporting a CCD to the updox - on summary sheet, export to PHR. Not sure if this works as I use Practicom

I haven't seen the portal from the patient side.
All you need to do is print the CCD to Updox. Then send it to the patient through the portal.

I found out how it is done.
From Amazing Charts when you export a CCD, you select the "sent to updox" folder and it is sent from there.
Printing to updox does not work the same way. It simply prints the document.

I don't understand. I print the CCD, print it to UJPdox that is and it shows up on updox. Then i send it to the portal.

Great question! How did you set up the updox folder? When I search for location to send the CCD, I do find .updox with 2 subfolders of app and cache. Do I choose one of those or make a new folder?

Oh, just found the "sent to updox" folder which does cause the patient's name and info to pop up in the inbox in Updox, but the CCD is not attached.

So, just to be clear what I tried to do: I went to export the CCD from the patient summary page. When asked to choose a location, I went to C:\Users\SendToUpdox. After exporting, I went to the Inbox in Updox which showed a labelled box with the Patient Record (CCD). The only information it contained was the patient's birth date and account number. When I tried to export to the patient portal, the patient received an empty message. What am I missing?
Also, I cannot find the tab labeled RECORDS on the patient side of the portal.
Unfortunately, there is no info in the HELP section of either AC or Updox regarding this situation.
