There are hundreds of sites devoted only to helping people by answering their questions. The thing that irks those who help the most is when person asks a question and then abandons the question even after two, three or most answers. Many of them put it in their list of suggestions and rules.
This forum has a myriad of topics but there are many threads asking questions about computers, networks, etc. Many will ask the question, there will be many answers and comments, and yet they will not come back to the thread.
Not only is it easier to help them if they give feedback, but others can learn as can those who are trying to help if the questioner gives the outcome.
