I have seen several posts with statements such as "I don't know how to post a file on here,". I would like to show you guys and gals how I would accomplish this task. Many sites such as http://skydrive.live.com http://www.rapidshare.com/ and http://www.2shared.com/ allow you to upload and share files with other people. After uploading a file, simply find the URL of the file you uploaded and then copy/paste that URL into your post on this forum. Here is a funny picture I found a while back that I uploaded to Windows Live Skydrive just to demonstrate (I never tried Skydrive before today) http://cid-c974118ef7458e52.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/GodBillboard.bmp

Ooo, program drop.

Another option is DropBox which places a folder on your computer there will work like any other and will automatically upload the contents to the web, so you can easily share a link to it with friends if you move it to your shared folder. Then just email the link. The link above is a referral link so anyone who uses it, and I, will get a little more space.

It looks like SkyDrive is the same idea, probably as good with much more space, and I haven't seen it before. I won't switch, but I have much less than 2GB in non media files.

Edit: SkyDrive looks great. Probably the better choice considering the size. Does it also do automatic versioning of your documents so you can recover doc's you accidentally deleted in the last month? Also, will it sync between different computers that all have the SkyDrive software? (Oh, and you might be interested, DropBox has a linux and mac client.)

Here's a comparison link. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/630441/GodBillboard.jpeg

I like the DropBox program and actually forgot about it. I don't know much about SkyDrive, today was the first time I used it or looked into it.
