DrWhoCares,
I think (as a new user myself) that some problems are user error. But, I am convinced that some of the lost note/lost message is in the system ( hardware or software, I don't know).I did't PM Adam Lauer because I am waiting for his input on this thread, there are clearly many people besides myself who are having issues with this.

Deborah et. al.

After reading your post, it suddenly dawned on me that I may be misunderstanding the issue and because of that, my comments may be more frustrating than helpful. In other words, some are "losing" notes, and I am saying it isn't possible AC is set up correctly.

Let me step back a bit and explain what I thought I was hearing and see if my suggestions would be different.

The most important premise that I may be missing is that when users say they are missing notes, they mean they save them and consider them saved to the database, but they seem to have never got there. If that is the case, then I could see issues with the software being a problem or even wireless being an issue. What I was assuming everyone meant was there were notes saved. You could open AC and see the note today. Even see it tomorrow. But, then a few days later it was gone. Maybe I had it right the first time. But, this is a good example of not everyone understanding the issue in the same light.

Troubleshooting these types of issues are difficult. As you say, it may be a bug and, therefore, testing everything or trying things differently will be a big waste of time. But, until you find out it is the software or hardware, you have to keep troubleshooting. Which is very much like medicine. History -- tell everyone what is happening exactly and what you have tried to fix it and what are the responses and then test your changes.

I remember once when I had a computer that was doing extremely strange things. It was something you would ONLY see with a virus. I went on Experts-Exchange and threw up the question, and within minutes I had four or five experts offering suggestions. We tried every virus scanner, rootkit scanner, changed DNS, changed IPs, changed network cards, changed Ethernet cables, tried step after step that had to be explained to me over and over. This question got to over 120 responses and still no answer. Now, about every 20th post, this guy would say, "You should try replacing your keyboard." How could it be the keyboard? It made no sense. So, I just ignored it over and over. Then 20 responses later, "Hi, it's I again. I think you should at least grab another keyboard from your office and try it." Finally after three days, I grabbed a keyboard from the room 20 feet away and changed it. And, guess what. The room I took it from started having the same issues when I put the original keyboard in and the "bad" computer was perfect. So, I guess I don't need to state the obvious, but one can dwell on what seems like the issue is, and it can be the smallest thing.

I have a suggestion which I haven't tested much, so it's an as is thing you may want to look at. Since this is so long, I will put it into a separate post.
