Just did a demo with them.
The difference between New Crop is startling.
I hope as Eprescribing is upgraded in AC that
Jon will consider going with this company.

The interface is $1500 so it is prohibitive for me right now.
Their interface is only "one way", but the New Crop interface is essentially only one way because what it downloads into AC is garbage.

The best part is they are nice-no bad mouthing or talking down to you like Dr. Susnow. They seem much more in the spirit of AC.

I'm glad to hear that there is an alternative to the ponderous NewCrop/Surescripts interface.

I am sure that the present eRx problems are not on AC's side, since failures to connect and lag usually causes a blank screen that says "NewCrop has been notified about this connection problem. Please try again later."

No wonder you have to sign up and pay for 1 year in advance. I feel like I've been snookered into a one-year membership in some sleazy "fitness centers".

I am wondering if as an OB/GYN (few meds prescribed) it is less cumbersome to use than you all who have tens to hundreds (just kidding) meds to prescribe each patient.

I have been using Rcopia for a few months, even though I paid for a NewCrop subscription. I still put new scripts in AC under the plan section, and maintain an single string list in AC medlist (e.g. lisinopril 40mg qD, all on the first line). It's in fact faster to use Rcopia despite lack of integration because both AC and Rcopia are running at the same time, so I don't have to go in and out of screens in AC. Also, multiple refills can be all done on on screen, instead of the in and out of each patient using NewCrop.

I think I would wait for the AC integrated eprescribing. I wouldn't pay for the New Crop when you have so few scripts to write.
