Hi,
My database is on a server. As the upgrade does not work with the database on a NAS drive, will it on a server? How do I upgrade my database? Should I transfer the data to my computer and run the installation as the main computer? Where can I transfer the data to in the main computer for the upgrade process to recognize it? After that, can I transfer the data back to the server? - Thank you in advance for all your inputs.

What OS do you have on your server?

If you have SBS 2003 and 32 bit cpu's then you're probably fine running the upgrade process on the server. Just backup before you do and make sure you install to the same directory as you did the first time.

Don't go moving things around if you don't have to. That may make the installation messy, right now it's quite simple, I don't think it is anymore trouble than it was with access, barring some hardware problems people were having, it just takes a bit longer.

Thank you for your kind input. Yes the server is SBS 2003/32 bit. I will upgrade this weekend.
