Gee a whole 1.5% increase.. They really seem to love that amount 1.5% for increase.
Beware the 1.5%. When we reviewed our medicare reimbursements earlier this year we were amazed to discover we had a 1.5%
DECREASE in the reimbursements for the standard office visit E&M codes. This was true for almost the entire western region except for certain parts of Southern California. I guess the cost of living only went up in So. Cal. (I was also amazed to discover no one publicized this in the medical press. When we called our state medical association, they acknowledged that one "slipped by"!)
