This has been a long ongoing peeve. After the note is generated I print/fax it with the 'Detailed LARGE note with practice header' format. I was glad that format was created because the notes before randomly omitted blank spacer line between section. Eg., no spacer line between HPI and ROS but spacers between PMH and SH, etc. The LARGE note format fixed this problem with the problem of the note being unclear when faxed owing to small print.
This problem still persists in the "print all notes". If I send all my notes to another provider, I will go to the 'Past Encounter' section and click 'All encounters' and put in the HIPAA stuff and 'Entire chart detail' and then print preview all the chart notes in sequence. The same clustering problem still persists. There is random clustering of sections which is cosmetically unappealing. Interestingly, if the 'Print progress notes only' is selected then the sections are well spaced.
Additionally, I hate to add the CPT on my notes; which I have turned off in the preferences. In the above "Print all encounters, messages, agenda" the CPT appears in the bottom of all encounters.
Few non-vital irksome issues, but I felt like bringing it up.
