For anyone with a work around to the absolutely stupid, annoying, ridiculous, wrong, f.....d up, takes up an hour a day of my time, rule that you cannot send more than one of the same ADHD script anymore. This is due to a bunch of idiot people in management who are misreading a DEA law from 2011.
A physician absolutely can send in more than one ADHD script as long as the remaining ones after the first one notates when it is OK for the pharmacist to fill, i.e.
Vyvanse 20 mg capsule
Vyvanse 20 mg capsule -- do not fill before 10/23/2021
Vyvanse 20 mg capsule -- do not fill before 11/23/2021
To even use NC, a company which is so stupid they can't figure this out and won't even consult with a doctor as to what the law is, is just not cool. AC, please tell NC that their rules are causing way too much of a hardship and to do what every other EPCS vendor does.
I have an "in" there who tells me she has told them that they are wrong and has even told them that they will feel the wrath of Dr. Adams, but it does not sway their rule given they are so stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
There is actually no limit to how many you can send as long as they are filled within 90 days.
