As is generally the case, the state changed its website for PMP. Prescription Monitoring Program. Under the old system I had three delegates who could look up data on the PMP. Very helpful to have staff with that ability.
With the new site, I carried over but my delegates were gone, and I could not find them. So, I wrote to megov.rxgov or something like that. They said the delegates are all deleted and you have to do a search. I did a search, but couldn't find them. Then they said, you can't just search for them, they have to go in and register themself and then I can search them. Now , the search has four required fields:
Delegate's first name:
Delegate's second name:
Delegate's DOB
and lastly
Is the delegate human, non-human or both.
It defaults to All, so I just left it there in case one of my MAs is non-human and I just didn't have that question on the interview form. (I changed my interview questions today)
So, I emailed and asked and they said it was because some who use the PMP are veterinarians. So, that begged the question, aren't veterinarians generally human?
The support tech told me, "Oh I thought you meant the search on the patients" I stopped there.
