I tried the free month of secure texting. It's basically like the Updox web portal but notifications are sent via text instead of email. For us, it didn't work out and we did not add the service. I do think secure text is easier than the Updox web portal for patients. But I also don't like how the messages disappear after a while as Jimmie said.
