We have ONE "real pharmacy" (independently owned, with a real pharmacist with real-world experience) in town, and 5 chain stores and one hospital owned pharmacy.
Population <20,000.
Can't imagine who is taking enough drugs to keep them all in business.
The chain pharmacists use up their free time in "consultations" with customers, and especially, second-guessing physician prescriptions (in the absence of any clinical data or even an interview with customer).
