I think we AC needs better way of communicating to providers when service(s) are down.
For example, on November 3rd, I noticed all my scrips were in queue for over an hour. I reached out on the shout box but there was no response. I then when to chat. AC was able to remote in. At first the tech wanted me to resend all prescriptions but there was too many prescriptions by multiple providers pending. Again I asked if this was a global issue, since Updox was down earlier in the day, but the tech was unaware. While waiting, I noticed queue was gradually catching up. In the meantime, the tech was making adjustments to the permissions on my server. Again I asked if this was necessary as this appeared to be a global issue, and not isolated on one Rx or computer. Usually adjustments to the permissions are needed after an upgrade, which was not the case. Moments later, the tech realized that NewCrop sent AC an email saying their services were backed up.
There has to be away for AC to push these types of notifications just like they push information about upcoming seminars. This would've saved me and the tech over 45 minutes of making adjustments that were otherwise unnecessary.
