I have much to be thankful for as well, one that is prominent in my thoughts the last few months is life.

Because they are humble folks, I won't embarrass anyone here by name, but several of you have been encouragers of Lori and I, our businesses, for years; more recently, some of you have been an active part of keeping me alive. I thank you, from a deeply appreciative heart. The pun was unintended, but LOL just the same.

Lots of wheels are turning behind the scenes, but the reminder that we all have so many seconds in life by which we can make a difference has motivated me to take all that I have learned from my years of close affiliation with providers, physicians, and their practices, and communicate that to the millions who have no grasp of what is going on in the world of medicine.

[Rant] To be a bit more polemic, most healthcare consumers have no clue all that is impacting their care, and especially their caregivers. Physicians generally don't like talking business with their patients; some because patients may not be receptive, but mostly because they bear the ever-increasing burdens of payers as the cost of doing business. [/Rant]

Myself, along with a crew of like-minded folks, are going to start making a difference about that in 2016. The marketplace will be the measure of our success, but it will interesting and rewarding, of that I am sure.

Summing up, There are several here that I am personally thankful for, and I am thankful how wandering through here years ago to help our family Doc has lead to some many wonderful friends and memories.
