Does anyone have any input about how to make the patient's preferred method of contact show up in the quick search screen? For example, if John Smith prefers we use his cell phone as his preferred MoC, other than putting the cell phone number in the Home number field, is there a way to override the system, as it where to have that populate? When I'm quick searching a patient, I don't want to have to open their whole chart in order to figure out which number they want me to call.
The last EMR I used was Prime Suite, a Needless Click Monster, but at least it actually used the function that was built in. Why have a Preferred Method of contact if it won't populate it? Or am I just being nit-picky?
