This may not be important to those that do NOT give vaccines, but it is extremely important to us pediatrician and those that give vaccines. If we CANNOT document appropiately about the vaccines given we will be cited(see above). Please note that VIS statements are available for multiple vaccines but they are NOT in the selection box to choose from when combination vaccines are given. These VIS sheets have a different date then those of the individual vaccines, so you cannot select the sheet for Hep B when giving COMVAX(Hep B and Hib), you have to give the VIS for combination vaccines. I am using version 8.02 and do not know if this is fixed.
