I use AC from a remote office;
Server is in my main office behind a Firewall;
We use remote desktop to access AC from the second office;
Can use laptops over a mobile hotspot or secure wifi connection to reach the server;
We have very few issues;
Even in the main office staff use remote desktop connection instead of having AC loaded onto every client;
